As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed everything about the process of creating.

Way back in the day, one of my sisters and I started a crafting blog called “Tattooed Sisters”. At the time, we were the only ones of our family to have tattoos. That’s not the case anymore, but the name stuck with me. I am still a tattooed sister, I teach Art, and I want to share what I'm learning with you!

I teach Junior High Art in Arkansas, and I am in my 3rd year of teaching. I'm just a baby teacher. The first year was about jumping in and doing the thing, the second year was about trying some new classroom management techniques (some too harsh, some too lax), and this year has been about finding my teacher groove. My groove is found somewhere between high behavioral expectations and being a creative silly goose. I finally have a portfolio going of art lessons, and as I refine them, I post to my Teachers Pay Teachers store: "Tattooed Sister: Art and Design for the Art Classroom."
